Thailand’s highlights in 8 days

Our main exploring day and observe the best of Thailand’s monuments that located within Bangkok, Wat Saket, the famous Golden Mount of Bangkok. We continue to The Grand palace and the Emerald buddha temple, Wat Pho that houses the Bangkok’s largest reclining Buddha, and to the Jim Thompson house, home of the American who lived in Bangkok for over 20 years after WWII.

Early in the morning we leave from our hotel and make our way to the famous Train market for some exploring there, witness how the hawkers react when the train arrive their stores and how they reset their reset it and be ready after the train driven through the market. We then continue to the famous Damnoen Saduak floating market where we’ll board a long tail boat in order to get the real experience. After our visit we’ll drive local lunch restaurant. In the afternoon, we drive to Bunkerd church, Nicholas Bunkerd Kitbamrung was born in Nakhon Chaisri, Thailand in 1895.

We are free in the morning for some optional activities, and in the afternoon drive from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, the ancient Thai capital that has been enlisted as world heritage since 1991. Explore highlights such as Wat Pra Sri Sanphet, Wat Yai Chaimongkol and Wat Mahathat and go for a longtail boat trip a great view of these scenic ruins. This evening will observe and take some great photo over the former capital of Siam when it lights up.

We drive to Kanchanaburi to visit the Allied war cemetery, the WWII museum and the Bridge over the River Kwai. In the afternoon we will participate the elephant heaven and offer them, good feeding, bathing, herbal medicine and mud spa. Its our best day with elephant heaven and get in touch of them at the same time.

We fly to Chaingrai in the morning and explore, Maesai border market that located at the northern most point of Thailand, the golden Triangles that was named by the world with the history of opium trade in the region and entering the Opium Museum learn more about the opium trading.

After our breakfast, we will drive through the scenic road which connects 2 biggest provinces, visit the world-famous white temple “Wat Rong Khun” that built by Thai national artist, “Chalermchai”, up on our arrival in Chaingmai the highlights are on the lists, Wat Phrasingha, Wat Chedi Luang and Doi Suthep temple where we will observe Changmai religious ceremony and opening for visitors to participate or even studying Buddhism within the temple.

Our day to reach Chaingmai’s mountain top, Doi Inthanon, is the highest mountain in Thailand in Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province. Visiting water fall, hilltribe village, and Thailand’s highest point at Doi Inthanon National Park, above the mountains of Chiang Mai, find tranquility at the beautiful cascades of the Sirithan and Wachiratharn waterfalls. Greeting a Karen Tribe at Sobhad Village, where you can support the local community as you learn more about their culture and lifestyle. This mountain is an ultra-prominent peak, known in the past as Doi Luang ('big mountain') or Doi Ang Ga, meaning the 'crow's pond top'. Near the mountain's base was a pond where many crows gathered. The name Doi Inthanon was given in honor of Inthawichayanon, the last King of Chiang Mai, who was concerned about the forests in the north and tried to preserve them. He ordered that, after his death, his remains be interred at Doi Luang, which was then renamed in his honor.
